The dawn of Devi Paksha. Listening to Birendra Krishna Bhadra's Mahishasuramardini at 4 AM to welcome Maa Durga.
Shashthi to Kojagari Lakshmi Puja — the committee's flagship event. Maa Durga's homecoming, five days of pandal and dhak, followed by Lakshmi Puja two days later.
Flag hoisting and celebration to mark India's Independence Day.
